Together for healthy lives, better
environment, and social justice.
The primary partners of AMPCL are the farmers in
Aurangabad and neighbouring districts of
Marathwada. Institute for Integrated Rural Development (IIRD) has laid the foundations of the
company and will provide continuous support
through networking and liaising with like-minded
organizations and individuals. IIRD is already a
member of several national and international
networks like the Associated Country Women of the
World (ACWW), Fair Trade Forum India (FTFI), International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM), The International Network of
Community Supported Agriculture (URGENCI), World Conservation Union (IUCN), PGS Organic
Council of India. IRD will use these network forums for the benefits of the farmers involved in AMPCL.
The AMPCL will initially collaborate with the networks of organizations in the Organic Bazaar network of India in 12 locations of India and the PGS Organic Council (India) network of organizations promoting local markets in at least 14 different locations of India. These networks will help promote the markets of AMPCL.
